Project Description: Youth Hostel near Hannover and Bielefeld
Within the Young Workers Volunteer Program, AFS Germany offers the possibility to work in one of the biggest institutions of youth hostelling in Germany. The project is located in Petershagen in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Northwestern Germany. As a Young Worker you will work in a youth hostel that offers affordable and safe accommodation for individual travellers and travelling groups. A home away from home. The hostel organization is daughter company of the German Youth Hostel Association, a non-profit association, founded in 1909. The hostels are open to anyone looking for an alternative to hotels – families, backpackers, business travellers, travelling school and youth groups, etc.
This youth hostel in the Region Minden-Lübbecke lies in an ideal starting point to explore the region and offers the visitors a total of 116 beds in 32 single, double and multi-bed rooms. With its multi-purpose hall and 5 Lounges, it also offers ideal conditions for conferences and school trips.
